Hello there, friends! My name is Vanessa Shinn. Welcome to The Easeful Life. This blog will be full of fun stories, things of the heart, photography, decorating fun…and well, really just all the things that bring me gratitude and joy! This page is to share my journey with you, in hopes of inspiring and touching someone I may never otherwise meet.
A little about me, I am a 35 year old wife and mother to two. I quit my job in 2014 to stay home with my kids and homeschool them. It was the best decision ever and though not all my days are glorious…I’ve never regretted it once! My husband Ryan is an electrician and handyman extraordinaire! Over the past ten years, Ryan has transformed our cozy, country home into our vision…and we aren’t done yet! I am sure to be sharing some of the amazing projects he does for me on the blog, as well! My daughter Cecilia is nine and our son Ryker is six. These two are my constant sidekicks and keep me laughing all the time, they will probably be the biggest source of my blog inspiration! Besides homeschooling and being a pretty terrible housewife😉…some of my other passions are photography, writing, reading, and making beautiful spaces! As my blog develops, you’ll learn more about me and my past and hopefully join me in this next chapter of my life!
